Terms & Conditions – In Safe Paws
1. Bookings & Payment
All bookings must be confirmed in writing (via email or message).
A 50% deposit is required at the time of the booking. The remaining balance is due no later than one day prior to the first day of the sit.
Bank Holidays charged at an additional £10 per day.
Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day subject to one 30 minute visit per day charged at £25.
Visits are scheduled during the following windows:
Morning: 6am-11am
Afternoon: 12pm-3pm
Evening: 4pm-10pm
2. Cancellations
Cancellations made with less than 7 days notice are non-refundable.
For early returns, no refund will be given for unused visits.
In rare cases , I may need to cancel a booking up to 7 days before the start date. A full refund will be provided in such cases.
3. Keys & Access
It is the client’s responsibility to provide access to the property.
Keys can be collected and returned by prior arrangement or kept securely on file for repeat bookings (with your permission).
4. Pet Health & Emergencies
You must disclose any health issues, behavioural problems, or special requirements.
In the event of a medical emergency, I will contact you immediately. If you are unreachable, I will act in the best interest of your cat, including seeking veterinary care.
Vet transport can be arranged for an additional fee of £30 per visit.
5. Insurance
I hold public liability insurance and am DBS checked.
It is recommended that you have your own pet insurance in place.
6. Home Security & Privacy
Your privacy and home security are respected at all times.
No personal details will be shared with third parties.
I will not allow any other person to enter your home during the booking unless discussed and agreed in advance.
7. Photos & Updates
I’ll send you regular photo updates unless you request otherwise.
Occasionally I may ask permission to use photos of your pet on social media. This will only be done with your consent
8. Inclement Weather
In cases of extreme weather, visits may be rescheduled or adjusted for safety.
9. Liability
I will take every reasonable precaution to care for your pet and home. However, I cannot be held liable for any unforeseen accidents or events beyond my control.
10. Client Responsibilities
Clients must provide enough food, medication, cat litter, and any other supplies needed for the duration of the booking.
A suitable cat carrier must be provided in case a vet visit is required.
